Dr Navjot Kaur


Research Associate

Dr Navjot Kaur is a health Data Scientist at Leicester Real World Evidence Unit. She completed her PhD from Loughborough University in 2012 and continued working as a Researcher till 2016. She has extensive experience of working on industry based projects including collaboration with well-established organisations like FORD Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover and Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). Her primary interests involve big health data manipulation and management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data visualisation and human computer interaction. At LRWE, she is mainly involved in research in the area of machine learning application for patients with intellectual disabilities (ID) and multimorbidity. She has played an essential role in research grant proposal for NIHR research project (DECODE: Mapping the Challenges and Requirements for Data-Driven, Machine Learning aided Stratification and Management of Multiple Long-Term Conditions in Adults with Intellectual Disabilities) in collaboration with Loughborough University and University of Leicester.
