Dr Helen Ying He


Statistician / Epidemiologist

Dr. Helen Ying He is a pharmacoepidemiologist and she joined the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit, Diabetes Research Centre at University of Leicester in June 2022. After completing her PhD in pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Hong Kong in 2016, she has worked at the Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam and the University of Oxford as Postdoctoral Research Fellow. She wishes to combine her experience/training in basic science during her B.S. and MPhil studies (pharmaceutical sciences and biochemistry) and pharmacoepidemiology to develop her academic career. Her interests are using Real World Evidence (RWE) data to study the following topic including pharmacoepidemiology, medication safety, clinical pharmacy, health economics and pharmacogenetics.
