Freya is a Research Fellow in Epidemiology at Leicester Real World Evidence Unit, Diabetes Research Centre, University of Leicester. She also has a dual role as an adviser at the Research Design Service East Midlands.
Her research interests are intellectual disability, multimorbidity and diabetes and she is particularly interested in novel ways in which to analyse observational data. Freya has an MSc in Public Health from St George’s Hospital Medical School and has worked at University of Leicester since 2004. She leads on the ERICAS (Evidence Review on Cardiometabolic Observational Studies; www.ericas.org) which aims to provide good quality contemporary real world evidence in cardiometabolic medicine.
